While charging batteries through your mod via USB is convenient, an external charger is safer and better for battery longevity. External chargers:
- Charge at a controlled, consistent rate.
- Have dedicated safety cutoffs to prevent overcharging.
- Allow you to charge batteries while still using your mod (with a spare charged set).
- Extend battery lifespan by charging more gently than many mod USB circuits.
- Let you monitor battery health over time.

How to Charge Correctly
- Insert batteries with correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- Connect the charger to a standard wall adapter — 5V/1A or 5V/2A. Avoid fast chargers.

- Remove batteries when fully charged — don't leave them on the charger indefinitely.
- Store charged batteries in a battery case until ready to use.
