Herbal Vaporizer TroubleshootingUpdated 15 days ago

Device Won't Turn On

  • Most herbal vaporizers require 5 rapid clicks to power on — try the click sequence again.
  • Check the battery charge — connect to the charger and let it charge fully.
  • Check for a lock mode — some devices have a lock function that requires a specific button sequence to unlock.

Weak or No Vapor Production

  • Temperature too low: Start sessions at a higher temperature. For dry herb, 375–410°F (190–210°C) produces good vapor. Higher temperatures (410–430°F) produce denser vapor but may affect flavor.
  • Herb is too wet or not properly ground: Herb should be ground to a medium-fine consistency and should be dry. Very wet or sticky herb produces steam rather than vapor and can clog chambers.
  • Chamber not loaded correctly: Herb should fill the chamber loosely — not packed too tight. Tight packing restricts airflow and reduces vapor.
  • Coil or chamber needs cleaning: Residue buildup reduces heating efficiency. Clean the chamber.
  • Coil is burned out (wax vaporizers): Replace the atomizer coil.

Restricted Airflow / Clogging

  • For dry herb: Empty the chamber and brush it out. Clean the screen — screens clog with fine herb particles and resin over time.
  • For wax vaporizers: Heat the device briefly to melt hardened concentrate, then wipe clean while warm.
  • Clean the mouthpiece and air path — these are the most common clog points. Use pipe cleaners or alcohol swabs.

Burnt or Harsh Taste

  • Temperature too high: Lower your temperature setting. Higher temperatures extract more but can make vapor harsh.
  • Chamber needs cleaning: Old residue burns and affects flavor. Clean the chamber thoroughly.
  • Herb is already spent: If the herb has turned dark brown or black, it's fully vaporized — reload with fresh material.
  • Coil is burnt out (wax): A burned coil produces a harsh, chemical-like taste. Replace the atomizer.

Device Getting Too Hot

  • Take shorter sessions with breaks in between.
  • If the device is hot to the touch during normal use, it may be a sign of a malfunction — contact us.
