Aspire Nautilus Coils — Compatibility and GuideUpdated 15 days ago

The Aspire Nautilus Legacy

The Aspire Nautilus has been one of the most popular mouth-to-lung tanks since its introduction. Loved for its adjustable airflow, excellent flavor, and satisfying throat hit, it's been a go-to for former smokers and MTL enthusiasts for years.

Nautilus Coil Compatibility

The good news about Nautilus coils: they've maintained excellent backward compatibility across models. BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) coils work across the Nautilus, Nautilus Mini, Nautilus 2, Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3S, and Nautilus Nano.

Available Nautilus Coil Resistances

  • 1.6Ω BVC coil: Most popular. Tight MTL draw, excellent throat hit, works at 9–13W. Perfect for former smokers.
  • 1.8Ω BVC coil: Very tight draw, maximum throat hit. Best at 8–11W.
  • 0.7Ω BVC coil: More open draw, more vapor. Best at 14–18W. A looser MTL experience.

Best E-Liquid for the Nautilus

The Nautilus is designed for MTL vaping with balanced PG/VG e-liquids (50/50 or 60VG/40PG). High-VG liquids are too thick for the BVC coil design and will cause dry hits and reduced coil life. Our SmokEjuice standard line is an ideal match for the Nautilus at any nicotine strength.

Tips for Maximum Coil Life

  • Always prime BVC coils thoroughly — let them sit for at least 10 minutes after filling before your first vape.
  • Keep the tank at least 25% full at all times.
  • Stay within the recommended wattage range for your specific coil resistance.
  • Avoid very sweet or heavily sweetened e-liquids — they gunk up coils faster.
