Kanger Coil Head Overview
Kanger coil heads (also called Kanger atomizer heads) are some of the most widely compatible coils in vaping, working across a range of Kanger devices as well as many third-party tanks that use the same format. They're reliable, affordable, and readily available.
Compatible Devices
Standard Kanger coil heads are compatible with:
- Kanger T3s
- Kanger Evod series
- Kanger Protank series
- Kanger Aerotank series
- Many third-party tanks that use the standard Kanger coil head format
Available Resistances
- 1.2Ω: Good balance of throat hit and vapor. Works at 8–14W or on variable voltage devices at 3.3–4.8V.
- 1.5Ω: Slightly higher resistance. Good for eGo-style batteries. Works at 7–12W.
- 2.2Ω: High resistance. Designed for very low wattage eGo batteries. Tight MTL draw.
Kanger Subtank Coils
The Kanger Subtank and Subtank Mini use a different coil format — the Kanger OCC (Organic Cotton Coil) system. These come in 0.5Ω (sub-ohm) and 1.2Ω options. Contact us for Subtank coil availability.
Best E-Liquid for Kanger Coils
Standard Kanger coil heads work best with balanced or PG-heavy e-liquids (50/50 or 60PG/40VG). High-VG liquids are too thick for these coils and will cause wicking issues.
